'Skills for working life', our work experience and mentoring programme, aims to assist more African and Caribbean people to access work opportunities in the Professional Services, Financial and Health Sectors, giving jobseekers the chance to experience what it is actually like to work in a particular field or gain knowledge from a professional who has experience in a specialist field.

This programme has been developed in response to the feedback given, regarding personal development needs, from people within the African and Caribbean community who attended BPC events throughout 2003.
